My background is in charity communications and managing IT projects in the voluntary and community sector, but I began by setting up a radio station at university when perhaps I really should have been studying harder for my final exams…Fast forward a few years and the experience gained building websites and producing magazines and materials for a conservation charity led to further exciting opportunities in and out of the traditional office. I have trawled and helped digitise the photo archives of the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, reconstructed an industrial archaeological site, been a STEM Ambassador, taught science and now I am one of the Lanchester Outreach Workers helping to spread the word about the Lanchester Interactive Archive. I’m a keen photographer, enthusiastic (but technically flawed) village cricketer and dad to a son who is reminding him just how good Lego has always been!
